The hometown fighter Martin Wojcik will drop down one weight class to middleweight (-84 kg) for Superior Challenge 8, on October 6:th in Malmö Sweden.
Martin (6-7-1) started practicing Judo at young age in Lund and represented Sweden in the Swedish national team after a few years. He managed to earn a black belt in Judo and a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu before he started with MMA. He managed to participate at the Olympics in 1995 as a Judoka youth, 1:st place in Scandinavian Open Judo Championships, and 1:st place in 2007 ADCC Trials in Athens. The computer engineer chose to take a break from fighting after his bout against Daniel Gracie in 2010 to focus on his career, but now he is back, and this is his second fight after the come back.
